Chancellor’s Message, International Campus
I am grateful to the Almighty God for granting me the honor of being among the learned faculty, diligent students and hardworking colleagues of the Kish International Campus of Sharif University of Technology located on the beautiful Kish Island and the opportunity to serve as the chancellor of this campus at this time of my life.
We intend to take steps in line with the goals and horizons drawn in order to improve the quantitative and qualitative level of educational, research and technological activities of this campus. Our main goals are as follows:
- Providing a healthy environment for the growth of Iranian-Islamic personality and the students’ brilliant talents;
- Transformation in educational and research programs by considering local talents and attracting more international students;
- Offering new courses and majors that cannot be offered on the main campus in Tehran;
- Strengthening international collaboration by creating joint courses with prestigious and reputable universities worldwide;
- Using the capacity of the physical space of the campus to establish innovation and technology centers to export knowledge-based services with the participation of Kish Free Zone Organization and other stakeholders.
We hope that with the help of our faculty, motivated students, hardworking employees and other colleagues in the main campus, other international university campuses located on the island and the officials of Kish Free Zone Organization, Kish International Campus of Sharif University of Technology will become internationally recognized in the near future at the level of third and fourth-generation universities.
